Another day goes on
another dusk, another dawn
Your empty inside, too tired to fight
But your eyes refuse close all night
Disappointment gnaws at your heart
And loosing hope tears you apart
Your bodies numb, your cold inside
No more to give, nothing left to hide
You wanted more, but we're left with none
Your expectations recede with the setting sun
Another night prolonged
Another dusk, another dawn
