Sick Girl
What you see

 Is a normal girl

 Happy and laughing

Without a care in the world,

What you see is a mask she hides behind,

 What you don’t see

Is the pain she goes through

 Every day,

 What you don’t see

 Is the sick girl,

 What you don’t see

 Is the constant hospital visits

 And the various pills swallowed,

 What you don’t see

Is the blood that’s been taken

And the weight that’s been lost,

 What you don’t see

 Is the disease she hides,

Instead you see what she wants you to see

 A normal healthy me.
