His hands hold me so tight it hurts, but
I’m more worried about my feet.
If I don’t watch my step
I might fall into a lake of boiling lava,
the jaws of a crocodile as big as the moon,
a pit of needles thirsting for blood

I feel my poker face, its crisping at the edges,
and flames are blazing in my hair
The searing heat, it’s everywhere
I should leave, I should leave, I should leave

but
I can’t back out and -

it’s suicidal.
I know.

I told you I’m a dangerous girl.

I’m dancing with the devil tonight, praying to God
To help me accept things I cannot change
