It's a whirlwind romance
A single smile
A single touch
Then finally that fatal kiss.
It makes or breaks everything.
Sparks fly,
Nothing matters but the light pressure of soft lips upon soft lips
Heart beats speed up and then slow.
Synchronized.
Beating to the same unending rhythm.
Just as feelings become wonderful,
the moment ends.
There is an emptiness
A single frown
A single tear
Then finally that feeling of loss, lust, and loneliness.
You're broken
You're gone forever
All for a whirlwind romance.
