(assignment to write about a book that "opened new doors for me", written about the book Crazy love, great book i recommend it to all!)
A smooth, thick, red page opens,
Leading to numerous, thinner, and bright, white pages.
It smells of fresh ink printed on new paper,
Yet worn from the hours and hours of use from the reader.
Some are ripped from the hand too impatient to turn the page.
Some are stained from the substances accidentally forgotten about.
Some are highlighted and underlined from the utensils who obeyed the mind’s command.
Some are bent from desire to pick up where one left off.
Some are wrinkled from the tears that fell from the understanding and awe inspired face.
Some are curved in just from being held, so the reader feels comforted.
Some are even falling out.
So real, that you can hear clearly the words coming from my Master’s lips.
His glory so sweet, almost as if I can taste it.
The righteousness has the power to make one feel so small and humble.
Being read over and over, consuming the mind.
Filled with such words that could only describe my God.
Crazy Love.
