Welcome Home
I lay my head down when I'm alone,
and whisper to the monsters 'welcome home'.
Cause I couldn't stop those horrible dreams,
these nightmares that rip me at my seams.
Death is a luxury that cannot be mine,
fate cuts in, every single time.
So I lay down slowly and open my soul,
clear my head of him and just let it go.
I see the demons, sulking around,
and get ready for the horror, I can't let them down.
Soon they seep into my deepest thoughts,
and they look to him, because he is the boss.
I lay my head down when I'm alone,
and whisper to the monsters, welcome home.
