Favorite Quote:
"Yet if hope has flown away, In a night or in a day, In a vision or in none, Is it therefore the less gone? All we see or seem, Is but a dream within a dream. . ." ~Edgar Allan Poe.

There have been secrets
That are still left to find
There have been mysteries
From the beginning of time
There are answers
We're not wise enough to see
When you get right down
To the reason for the world
Who are we?

Purpose tied to intent
Innocence mixed in treason
Ages lost in places
Where we’ve yet to be
Nothing gained; nothing lost
Nowhere near were we started
Reason lost to mystery
History racing time

We’ve lost our reason
No words left to rhyme
Empty paths to empty lands
There’s nothing to be seen

This poem is about not having reason. It's a black hole of words. Personally, I love it.
