Courage
Like a brick wall
It starts out small
Yet the wait is not long
Until it grows strong
It acts as a protector
As a happiness director
Not made of brick
Nor made of stone
Yet by itself It can stand alone
It affects us all
Most always good
Though most don’t find it
Until adulthood
In times of doubt
It tries to find us all
When darkness is about
It helps us as we crawl
With nothing to do
This is the light that shines through
Courage
