Dreamworld
What are dreams?
 Memories of the past?
 Visions of the future?
 Messages from God?

 Bright and vivid,
 Obscure with shadows,
 Blazing or icy,
 Glorious or grey.

 From a dream,
 I can wake up Laughing
 in Tears
 covered in a sheen of Sweat
 consumed with Fears

 Dreams consume us;
 They capture our senses.
 We can taste the dream’s sunlight;
 We can feel its rain.
 We can hear a scream,
 We can sense dark pain.

 Dreams show us lies;
 We see contorted visions
 untrue memories
 uncompleted events
 unreal realities.

 Wake me.
 Wake me so I can see
    the imperfect reality.
 Wake me.
 Wake me so I can
    see a cloudy sky;
 Wake me so I can
    feel bitter wind.
 Wake me so I can
    hear an unshed cry;
 Wake me so I can
    sense when reality will bend.

 But most of all,
 Wake me so I can feel.
 Wake me so I can see you.
 Your shy smile
 Your loving eyes
 Your joyful face.
 Wake me so I can be with you;
 Wake me so we can change this world that is as twisted as a twisted dream.
