Dancing with the Stars

On that Friday night
when we are lying
beneath the speaking stars,
lift me up.
Let us dance to
the wonderful music
of the night sky.
As you float up
towards the stars,
do not leave me
on the ground.
Wrap your arms
around me tighter
than you have
ever done before.
When the moon
has grown too full
for our eyes to bear,
let it change for us
to new once again.
We must continue,
always and forever,
to dance, my love.
