Friday
It’s Friday and it’s the end of school.
It’s the end of this horrible week of torture I call school.
It’s the end of the stress of long days, boring classes, and hard work.
It’s the end of annoying teachers and dumb subjects.
It’s the end of insipid and atrocious lunches.
It’s the end of the haunting feeling of late family members’ footsteps under yours.
It’s the end of unwanted company.
It’s the end of people acting like they’re crazy for no reason.
It’s the end of nerve-wrecking children, acting as if you owe them something when they owe you.
It’s the end of the 'little miss good girl' act that is put on for almost every teacher.
It’s the end of nights of heartache from disappointment, misunderstanding, and indifference.
It’s the end of fun conversations, cool friends, and good times.
It’s the end of long laughs and dirty jokes.
It’s the end of ‘I can’t wait ‘til Friday’ and ‘Friday needs to hurry up’.
It’s the end of the good and bad times, but it’s the beginning of relaxation time.
It’s Friday and it’s the end of good friends and bad enemies.
