Perspective
Panes of glass
mark their place in the wall.
 Bodies and blank stares
direct their flickering attention to the outside world.
 Focused and unfocused
 we daydream together,
and surely our wishes are alike.
 Leaving never leaves our minds,
and the paned glass windows are a
 constant reminder
 of leaving.
Knowing that there is indeed an outside world,
 we wonder.
 Pondering thoughts in our heads,
 much the same.
 Panes of glass
mark their place in the wall,
as we watch the outside world
 pass us by.
