The good time you always hope never ends
We are the wishers, the missers, the past
The happy summer that ended too fast
We are the dancers, the artists, the words
The morning dew serenaded by birds
We are the sun, the moon, and the stars
The lonely nightingale surrounded by bars
We are the joyful, glee filled, happy days
The light that shines at the end of the maze
We are the wind and rain and love
The peaks of the mountains high above
We are just two lonely souls
Looking for each other to fill the holes
