My Own Worst Enemy

You’ve given all the signs
But at the same time
Made minimal effort
I think this is real
But can’t help but suspect
Is it just another play on my heart
In relationships
I am my worst enemy
Constantly doubting and analyzing
For fear of falling for the same trap
Making the same mistakes
For the fear of being used and taken advantage of….again
