were i am now
silence is all i hear,
it screams at me loudly.
tears, frowns, serious faces,
yet i dont know a thing.
tell me what its like to be free,
and be so trapped.
scared, frightened, alone….
captive of my mind.
prisoner of of my thoughts.
enslaved to the present,
wishing it were the past.
i close my eyes hoping not to see,
let the pain go.
