I guess it's love then. 

But when I think of him, I don't think I love you(because I don't think I'm ready for that, I think of I adore you, I respect you...etc

Infatuation you care for their looks and get over them in a month.  With love they have the power to break you, or save you.

Yes it is.  If they are the cane you lean on in the day and the dream you fall asleep to in the night, then it is love.

I say, yes, it is love.

What makes me so sure is the glowing affection in the poem for the "smiles" and their affect on you. This is a joyful little piece, and I'm glad I came across it.

the love of my universe looks at me like there is the world at end(in a good way) like she wants to cherish every moment we are to gather, and i the same. i bring every hug and kiss with me to keep me sane so i may live another day
