No matter where you are in the world, you are always looking at the same stars as someone else.

The wind blows,
it sweeps my heart with it.
It picks it up and tosses it around.
I want my heart back,
I feel hopeless without it,
watching it being tossed in the air by the wind.
I want it back, safe inside my chest.
What if the wind drops it?
What if the wind drops it,
and I can’t catch it?
What then?
How will I put my heart back together again?
Once the wind drops it,
which it will, eventually.
Eventually it will die down.
it will die,
my heart will drop,
and I will die.
I will die without my heart.

Thank you so much, it's really encouraging when other people comment on my writing and they like it, it's encouraging when friends do it but it's different when someone you don't know agrees with them :D

You're writing style is amazing. It painted this picture in my mind and really spoke to a situation I'm going through. Actually it just basically SPOKE TO ME. :) :) Thanks so much and keep on writing. You're an amazing writer with TONS TONS TONS of potential.

Good luck. :)

Forever and Always,
Nicole :)

Don't only practice your art, but force your way into its secrets, for it and knowledge can raise men to the divine.
-Ludwig van Beethoven

The imagery was fantastic, and it was actually pretty touching for a shorter poem.
