His hands are rough from all the sports he used to play.
Don’t help me
His nails are bitten short form all the nights he lies awake.
Don’t burn me
The moon creeps up past the skyscrapers.
Don’t love me
He feels the usual rush of nostalgia as he washes the dishes.
