Pit of Suffering
Losing sight of life, I was plunged into the darkness.
Drip,
Drip,
Drip,
Was that all I ever heard in this pit I must call home?
My sanity, oh my sanity, it may very well trickle away.
There it is again!
Drip,
Drip,
Drip,
Once again, I trashed around violently,
Like a spoiled child who hadn’t gotten what they wanted.
Of course, they will feed me, they want me to crack,
I will not crack.
Once again, that agonizing drip is back…
Drip,
Drip,
Drip,
I cannot take much more of these mind-games they test me with—
Yet if I forfeit, I will surely die.
An eon may pass. But I shall still be suffering in my black despair with my
Drip,
Drip,
Drip.
