Lake Mills, Wisconsin
Small and cold
Vague, bland, green landscapes
Flat for corn
So much cheese…
Polka radio station my uncle
Tortured us with
And one day I moved away
from where the weather was
Chilly and gray and the skies
Were heavy with anguish.
Stranded in the
Lake Mills
Gloom
No more
