We Only Live Once
For one day, let’s live without a fear of tomorrow
Let’s run down the hills and rid of our sorrows
Let’s play like schoolchildren that are afraid to lie,
Let’s swing and swing until we touch the sky

Watch us as we fly our kites
And as we ride on bright orange and pink bikes
Watch us chase bunnies for no reason at all,
And laugh with us when we trip and fall.

We’ll smile as we laugh through the tree-lined streets
And as we sing along to some familiar beats
We’ll smile as we dance with everyone looking,
And sing out loud until we smell mom’s cooking

We can play with balloons and colour our hair,
And we can make a house out of pillows and make it our lair.
We can watch the sunset as we sit in the grass,
And we’ll make sure this free day isn’t our last.

For one day, let’s live without a fear of tomorrow
Let’s run down the hills and rid of our sorrows
We’ll take advance of this wonderful bunce,
Because we all know that we can only live once.
