Pieces of memory lost
And time stopped
Just for a moment
As i look into her eyes
Reminiscing in the days gone by
Washed in the thoughts of the future
And shattered by the loss
Of someone i love
Dreaming of the future
And dazed by what i see
Confused in all the pain
And lost in all that’s shed
Not in blood that’s shed
But in the layers that hide
Who i really am
Cracked and broken
I lay there thinking
Why?

I have become more open because the shell is now gone. don't know if i like it yet. but I'm learning new things from it everyday. becoming a better person and learning to love life again
