Fire dance
Spark of a flame
Swirls
Swishes
Lights the night
In a red glow
It burns away apathy
Brings energy to the silence
Around us
But
The colors fade
Into gray
As the flame recedes
Into embers
That turns to ash
When the sun ascends
And the fire dance
is finished
For now
The end is signaled by
Smoke
