Small Eyes and Ears
So young yet their small eyes have already seen
 The terrors in this world
 Their ears have heard
 More than should be possible

 When the day grows dark
 Nightmares invade their sleep
Waking up horrified and so alone
So young, too young to have been in those places
Too young to have seen these things
