Mind games
Forced into my room watching as the paint turns grey and wears away. I don't hate you, never could. I've been locked away a bird in a cage beaten down, wings clipped. I wonder if any man or women could ever love me. Would I be able to love them? Or even myself after all these games you like to play.
You destroy me piece by piece then ask for sympathy, I'm sorry this little bird has made mistakes, isn't colorful, or able to preform tricks. I may never be good enough for you but I hope one day to soar far and high.
