I’ve come to this place once again
Willing or unwilling I have yet to discover
Here in this dark yet somehow lighted space
Standing alone, in the barren lonely expanse
Suddenly as if as if out of nowhere
A sound falls upon my ear
Lightly at first, but louder,
Stronger,
More lively
Abruptly the sound stopped
I again was left in the darkness
Of the place I had come to unwillingly
