I can’t wait to be respected by seniors
I can’t wait to be considered smart
I can’t wait until I have power
I can’t wait to break some boy’s heart
I can’t wait for a boy to say I’m beautiful
I can’t wait to get the lead in a play
I can’t wait until my book is read
I can’t wait for it to be today
