Love is to be free
free? this word means nothing to me
its like a bull taking a pee
on the hearts of the innocent
who put trust on their sleeves
only to have the love leave
and break into dust
until they bust
into what becomes of one

one who has put up the walls
never to fall just to be bounced like a ball
in the schoolyard
where he found how hard

consumed by dread
