If they give you ruled paper, write the other way

Everyone says sorrow
Is tears
running down your face
anger, overwhelming
torment driven adrenaline rush
it's more like a
know in your throat
that grows larger
it grows until you choke
a pain in your chest
a sickness indescribable
a lost look in your hurting eyes
you look away
into a far away land
you can't focus
you don't have a place in this world
tears, struggling to pour out
welling over, your faded, bruised
eyelids
emotions blended together
you're not longer in control of your life
you're just the passenger
sorrow is driving you

This is a poem that I wrote during a really rough period in my life, about how when you are depressed you don't feel like you are always in control.
