I Am Scared

I am scared to be alone because after I'm alone my mind sinks in to an a coma. Comatose is my only friend these days it seems like.
I am scared to slumber because even in my dreams I am not safe. Horrible images haunt me every night.
I am scared to me fully loved because they'll eventually leave me. They always do, I guess I'm just drained for abandonment.
I am scared to be happy because I know, no matter what I do or how hard I try it won't verbiage for long.
