I love the way we sleep
tangled limbs
a sailor's knot
sticking out like the tree branches


I love the way you hold me
safe and warm
a home in this wilderness
the sun on my face


I love the way you smile
bright and waiting
a lighthouse on the bag
the sun shining amidst the clouds


I love the way you are
strong and beautiful
a breeze in the summer
the mountain in the molehill of life


You make me be me.
