I should have expected it.
It shouldn't have come as a surprise.
The bed is so cold beside me.
I remember how it felt to lay by you.
It was so warm.
Warmth in me and around me...
I expected to feel loneliness
when I knew
you would have to leave.
I just didn't expect
to feel this cold.
