Nobody knew how she felt inside
Nobody knew how often she cried
Nobody could see the pain within her eyes
Nobody could see the truth behind the lies
Nobody knew of her loss of hope
Nobody knew she couldn’t cope
Nobody knew she needed a chance
To spread her wings and flutter in dance
Nobody knew of her longing for
Peace, love and acceptance like never before
