Red, blue, green, To the sea, then Repeat
my fear grows as my face shows
 scared to approach a mirror
it might leave you in tears or
 catch you by surprise.
because i'm painted with different colors.
 trapped behind the shudders
 i was blue, then red.
 let it dry,
 then turned blue again.
 when complications would meet me,
 i would turn green.
 a different scene
 after the other
 after the other.
it's hard for me to trust
when i hold my heart away from my chest.
 i've always been second best.
the only thing that excites me is a paint brush.
i've never been good at keeping in touch.
i hate to lie, and never hold a grudge.
 i'm terrible at speaking,
 and always get tongue tied.
if i knew any more, i would say.
 but it's all kept inside,
 layers
 layers
 even i dont know,
 What color am I?
