I Have a Lot of Words

I have a lot of words you see
too many to write down
they hover
swoop
and sometimes attack me
viciously
making me spend hours
just writing them all out
and for what?
For silly poems
that no one wants to read
sometimes I wish
they would just leave me in peace
but then
they would fly off
and pester someone else
and I would be lonely
and silent
