Photos
Pictures of people with smiles
 photos in numerous piles
 close friends, family and memories
all those yesterdays those pictures carry
A pyramid on a fall day
 lighted by the sun's ray
Five people of support with me on top
 the laughter never did stop
we all crashed down with wide grins
with some scrapes on our shins
we got back up and built up from the base
a pair of sparkling eyes on every face
we did it we held on in time for the flash
then we fell over with a crash
that picture is a memory taped to my mirror
and it helps me see the world clearer
the layers of support that held us up the looks that say "never give up"
