I am a cliché
I never try to pretend I’m not
I am a cliché
The girl with the pretty dressed with feelings that burn
I am a cliché
I am happy but always reaching for something more
I am a cliché
A mold used over and over again but my mold had a chip
Of course
I am a cliché
Broken heart- broken trust- broken family
I am a cliché
I am not a-one-in-a-kind
If everyone’s special isn’t that a fancy way of saying no one is
I am a cliché
Sweating out the hot summers in a second house near the water telling my friends about my other friends than telling my other friends about hem all the while exaggerating a little more each time until my pot of lies tips over and the golden stream of hate pours over me
I am a cliché
Always too timid
Secret ambitions
Wearing a mask
I am a cliché
Facing my demons
I am a cliché
