I want to be a kid again,
And laugh and play without a care in the world,
I want Santa to bring me presents,
And the Easter Bunny to deliver candy,
I want witches and warlocks to live down the street,
And Halloween the day when we hold hands and run past their houses,
I miss the way things used to be,
When you lived next door,
And we were best friends,
What happened to that?
Maybe things would be easier if we could just be kids again…
