I crouch,
barefoot and crying
on the forest floor.
These people are vicious,
with their metal guns,
and green uniforms… soldiers.
Help me.
I have a family,
two daughters and a son.
My wife is gone,
taken by these men.
Help me.
One man points the metal gun
towards me. He laughs,
speaking in a another language…
One I cannot understand.
Help me.
Smirking, he says something else,
Then, he pulls the trigger.
