Life's not about how hard you can hit; it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done.

“The joy in his eyes was gone,”
The night we left our home.
“They past me by,
One after the other.”
Where are we going?
I have no clue?
Away from here,
away with the Jew.

To the camps we marched,
Marked by our star.
“We were given new clothing,
And settled in two tents.”
Separated from our freedom,
By an electric barbwire fence.

“Twelve hours a day,
I hauled heavy stone.”
And all through the night,
I prayed to go home.

Our march from Buna,
Was cold and damp,
When will we get out,
Of these God forsaken camps?

April 11th ,
We were set free.
No thought of revenge,
Just glad to be…
