may be the ticket

climax with
lunch and the
anticipation of
what's next

fast forward
and settle
into hanging out
with a boy
you hope you're family likes
Perfect days
resolve with
taking that boy home
and meeting his sweet mother
Perfect days
end with
a smile one lips
as I drift to sleep
with your face
behind my eyelids
