the sky drips,
the fields beckon,
ask for me and I'll join you.

We'll lay, overturned
scrambled heads
fragile hearts
brimming lips.

Look at me
and see me like a sunset.
We both existed just outside
your window
you only now take notice.

I'll forgive you
if you could me.
Never to return the other's
scrambled heads
fragile hearts
brimming lips.
