Why does a moon dance

on a man’s death?

showing its luminous face

upon woeful features

as wind shrieks

and a woman walks

in slight nightgown

whipped in air

looking down upon her

beloved’s dread countenance

glass shattered

falling random upon a floor

lines of crimson made vivid

in dark night

nothing is clear

she walks in dusk

waking to sorrow
