The songbirds sing
Of Spring's awaken,
From April mornings to nights of June,
Rousing the heart but love forsaken

But then the summer nights did come
With the lights of heaven's dome,
And since the days of then thereafter,
I've made my love for you be known

And with the ripeness of the harvest,
Atumn's fruits to be but firm;
May I be so true to you,
A lover of lovers and continue to learn
