blind
The sun shines,
 The grass sways,
 The trees creek,
 but I see nothing.
Only the darkness my life as become.
I see no beauty or flaw.
 some say I'm lucky, why?
I can't see the punch line in any joke,
or the sunset on any horizon.
Yet there is one shining light in my void of darkness.
I can't see the end in any day,
 so I keep looking forwards,
 each and every night
