" The Music in Me"
Music is life
Its sweet melody makes me quake
It brings me out of myself
A new corpse that is pure
 I am myself
 Music is energy
I feel my heart begin to beat faster with the beat of the music
 Some is soft and comforting
Some make you find your inner dancer
And some are creations of a music abuser
They have no meaning but an infectious sound
 The words are meaningful
When the singer hits that softest note
 The highest note
I am in awe and have fallen under the spell of music yet again
I put myself in their shoes
 I’m performing among a crowd
Everyone is happy and touched by me
Their energy puts me at a complete ecstasy
 Music is in me
I pull it out at times
I wonder if it’s right for me
Will it make me or break me?
 Can music save me?
It has saved plenty of others.
But I don’t want to be just another.
 I want to be me.
 Music is pulling me
It’s just too hard to resist
