Hanging up--
The words don't come out
 right
 they stay tucked under
 my tounge
 glued to my gums
 affraid to be spoken
 so I picked up my pencil
 and my old worn journal
 a place only my thoughts can bloom
 my heart and soul
 I write your name
 on the first line of the page
 at the top
 to the left
 in my neatest handwriting
 then the words were ready
 to be spoken
 so I picked up the phone
 and dialed your number
 and when I heard your voice
 all I could say
 was I love you
 and I hung up--
