The Warmth
The first time you hugged me
 I felt your warmth
 your arms around me
 I squeezed you tight
if I had the power to freeze time
 I would have
I would have never let go
the world was frozen around us
but we were still in motion
 I gave a sigh
and the moment I breathed out
 the world started up again
like the warmth of my breath unfroze it all
but was it the warmth of my breath
or the warmth of my heart
 I smelled your cologne
I hoped it lingered on my shirt
I held on as long as possible
although you may not know this
 when we hugged
I felt a warmth like nothing else
