forsaken
Lost
 Forsaken
The starry twilight has taken me in
 The worth of the night
 The crispness in his breath
 My hand against his chest
 The tantalizing scent
 I can’t even begin
 Your hand entwined with mine
 The thought of you missing
 Sends my senses radiating
The feel of your arms around me
 The bouquet of warmth
Wrapped in endless ribbons of security
 Now that I miss you
 I look sad
 When I look down
I see the spaces between my fingers are cold
Lost in a world with out you
 Temptation is what you bring,
 Scared of life without you
Nostalgic for a life with you
 So like a frightened introvert
 I fake a smile
 What would it take
To make or brake this hint of love
Dance with me in the vanilla twilight
 Take my hand in yours
 Sway with me
 Take your time
 Melt with me
Time together is just never quite enough
Tell me darling do you wish we’d fall in love
 Show me a beginning
 Show me an end
 Show me a shadow
 That never wants to end.
