In Pieces
This person was sad
 I didn’t know why
‘Cause at first I saw happiness
 Not their cry of pain

 So lonely they thought
 All in the dark
 Surrounded by people
 Who don’t even care

 But deep inside
 People did see
 How sad this person
 Has ever been

 They care
 They want to help
 But they’re so scared
 To hold out their hand

 But I wasn’t
I wanted to be a friend
So I reached out my hand
And pulled this person from darkness

 Because before all of this
 This person was in pieces.
